Our Beliefs:
Unashamed for Christ adheres to the Fundamentals of the Christian faith; furthermore, we believe that they must not be compromised. Therefore, the following statement covers primarily the Fundamental doctrines.
God's Word:
We believe in the divine inspiration, inerrancy, infallibility, completion, preservation, and authority of the Bible.
God:
We believe in one God who exists in the three Persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We believe God created the heavens and earth and all that is therein within six literal days.
Sin:
We believe in man’s fallen state of sin and consequently God’s judgment of death and eternity in a literal hell.
Salvation:
We believe that any sinner can be saved from his sin and from hell by grace alone through faith alone in the person and work (crucifixion and resurrection) of Christ alone.
Christ:
We believe in the Fundamental doctrines of Christ, including, but not limited to the following: His Deity and humanity (hypostatic union); His virgin birth; His sinless life; His one-time, substitutionary death on the cross; His atoning, shed blood; His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead on the third day; His literal ascension; and His literal Second Coming.
Holy Spirit:
We believe in the necessary work of the Holy Spirit in salvation, such as His conviction, sealing, and regeneration of the sinner. Also, we believe in His indwelling work within a believer for sanctification.

Our Partners
Unashamed for Christ seeks to partner with churches and ministries that are sound in doctrine, practice, and attitude in accordance with Scripture. When it comes to doctrine, we strive to have unity and to partner in ministry with local churches and ministries in accordance with the essential doctrines, as well as proper attitude, given in Ephesians 4.
1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all. By implication and in accordance with other Scriptures, we do not cooperate when these essentials are not in agreement. We are opposed to partnering in Christian ministry with such movements as theological liberalism, neo-orthodoxy, ecumenism, catholicism, and any non-orthodox movement, church, or ministry.
When it comes to matters of practice, we separate from local churches and ministries in accordance with 1 Corinthians 5. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. Therefore, we choose to not cooperate in ministry with any church or ministry that participates in any of these serious sins, or defends them, or condones them, or excuses them. We strive to treat every one with respect and human dignity as we teach them the truth of the Gospel and God's Word in love so that they may be saved, transformed, and used for God's glory. We try to pattern our attitude, purpose, and model after such Scriptures as 1 Thessalonians 2, Ephesians 4:11-16, and Acts 20:19-35.

UC Evangelist Steve Benna - Coordinator
Steve Benna serves as The Director of Outreach and a Youth Leader at the First Baptist Church of Galeton in Pennsylvania. He currently lives in the tiny village of Oleona with his wife Laura and their two daughters Olivia and Alison. Steve has also served at the Wellsboro Teen Center’s after school program as a leader, teacher and board member. Steve has been street evangelizing for the past decade, participating in such evangelistic events as The Bill Rice Ranch New York City Subway Outreach, the Superbowl Outreach in Atlanta, GA, and the Little League Word Series in Williamsport, PA to name a few. Steve was also blessed with the opportunity to travel to India and help serve the widows and orphans while preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Although Steve recognized his need for the Savior at a young age it was not until many years of rebellion and the birth of his daughters that he surrendered his life to Christ. Steve - “‘You cannot impart what you do not possess.’ Just ‘saying a prayer’ doesn’t save a person. ‘Repent and believe’; many people believe in Jesus but few repent. But they go hand in hand: your repentance is what bears witness that you believe.”
